Clay in the hands of the potter does not remain plyable. It eventually hardens, within a day or two, cures and then is put in the kiln to be "FIRED". If we are to be a useful vessel in the hands of God then we too must go through the fire. This "firing" may be associated with our sanctification. But we seldome if ever hear anything preached about sanctification anymore.....maybe that is why the church is o weak.
