The Lord said to Moses, “Now I am going to cause food to rain down from the sky for all of you…” Exodus 16:4
“This evening you will know that it was the Lord who brought you out of Egypt. In the morning you will see the dazzling light of the Lord’s presence…” Exodus 16:7
Complaints. Grumbling. Dissatisfaction. Whether we would like to admit it or not, the Christian life is full of it, especially in the early days, just after we have declared our belief in the saving power of God.
When I came to believe in Christ, I was going through one of the toughest times in my life. I had been getting very few clients and almost zero income, which forced me to sometimes skip lunch for lack of funds. On top of that, I was frequently arguing with my wife, was almost forced to leave my house, and I had just failed a major exam in my career. It was quite a chain of depressing events, for me at least.
Learning to Listen as a Leader

People say that listening is an art form, that not anyone can do it or that it takes a “special” person to be a good listener. Although I will say that some people are better at listening than others I disagree that it is a gift.
I believe everyone has the ability to listen if they wanted to; even Jesus speaks it many times to the churches that “All who have an ear let him hear what the spirit is saying.” Well, we all have ears and that was Jesus point. He gave us two ears and one mouth .and that alone should tell us something.
Do You Want God To Seek You?

One of the most important questions a believer should asked themselves; Is God seeking me? The Bible says in John 4:19-24 that God is seeking true worshippers the ones that will worship Him in spirit and in truth. True worship takes place on the inside, in the heart and spirit of the worshipper.
Worship that is pleasing to God must be sincere, transparent and offered to God with a humble and pure heart. However, this is not enough. Worship “in truth” connects the heart and spirit of the worshipper with the truth about God and His work of redemption as revealed in Jesus Christ.
David understood the importance of worshipping “in truth” and the necessary connection between “truth” and the Word of God, when he wrote “Teach me your way O Lord and I will walk in your truth, give me an understanding heart that I may fear (worship) your name” (Psalms 86:11, 145:18). We see here that both the old and new testaments agree. The true worship of God is essentially internal a matter of the heart and spirit rooted in the knowledge of and obedience to the revealed Word of God.
